Calasparra Paella Rice

This wonderful highly absorbent, short grain rice is grown on the Moorish built river terraces of the town of Calasparra in Murcia - a region awarded ‘Protected Denomination of Origin’ due to its unique rice-growing conditions. 

The cool climate of the region means that the rice takes 30% longer to ripen, creating a flavour that makes this paella rice one of the best in the world.
